I love David Austin Roses and while searching for a reference to paint, I stumbled upon these incredibly huge beauties in mooseyscountrygarden.com. After asking for permission to use them as a reference, I made a composition out of several different photos. Here’s how the drawing looks like. I have started on the first washes of a few petals.
