Bougainvillea and bird watercolor painting

I haven’t painted many flowering trees, which present their own challenges when painting mid distance, the gesture of the tree and masses of leaves on the bough become more important than the individual leaves and flowers, also some atmospheric perspective comes into play. It has been very invigorating to paint this.
