Provence roses – Oil painting

This painting is based on a photo I took a couple of years back. Am enjoying oils a lot, and I am still getting used to the techniques used in the medium, obviously its quite different to transparent watercolors, so I haven’t taken any pictures of the process. I have been making small oil sketches to boost my confidence. Its a whole lot messier too and clean up takes longer. Also been keeping a couple of sketchbooks.
